Homo Affection: Memories of a Nature Boy explores the dynamics of Black masculinity and identity through male-to-male intimacy, and ideas of fatherhood, brotherhood, sexuality, and HIV/AIDS. The piece is a conceptual narrative, an autobiographical tale of adventures, memories, dreams and visions, told through movement, text, spoken-word, music, and multi-media.
