"Whenever I use BLACK it relates to some history of Africans in that particular place. It’s the idea of the color BLACK as a metaphor, or as a representation of African-Americans. It’s the notion of BLACK- BLACKNESS - and all its other meanings in relation to the history of race..."

- Fred Wilson

"Most of my fortitude to continue doing the work comes from the moral outrage I feel about the injustices that Black people endure disproportionately daily."

- N. Abdul-Wakil

"In the end, what matters is not skin shade but pan-African consciousness. Loving your complexion, your nose, lips, hair length and texture, no matter what the politics or trends decide, and simply be. That's the problem with us (African folks). We're still learning how to love ourselves. So used to glorifying others and putting others first..."

THE MAJESTICS is an action adventure tale about hip, young superheroes who discover their powers and their life's purpose through a family tragedy of global proportions.

Asha, Henry, and Stanley Crenshaw are cousins and heirs to the Crenshaw Family Foods empire. Their care-free, jet setting lives are dramatically and permanently transformed after their family is obliterated in a suspicious explosion during their 142nd annual family reunion at the Ravenwood compound.

Left orphaned, but now equipped with super human powers, the three cousins, along with their uncle, Fletcher Crenshaw and trusted family confidant, Omar, must tackle the challenges of young adulthood, while answering the call to be guardians of their family legacy in an as yet uncharted world.

As they embark on a mission of vengeance, Asha, Henry, and Stanley become THE MAJESTICS. While uncovering their enemies by piecing together clues from the tragedy with mysteries from their family's Camelot-like past, their quest for revenge is curbed and they embrace a greater destiny to which they dedicate their immense family fortune and their newly discovered super-human talents.
