I absolutely love the Maafa Suite. I've been going back for 8 years now! I first learned of it watching an excerpt on 'Like it Is.' And I been hooked ever since. Rev. Youngblood did a great thing adding this to the repertoire of his church. I'm not an 'organized religion' person but I think if I lived in the Peoples Republic of Brooklyn, then SPCBC would be my church. They do so much for the surrounding community. Its a church that truly "walks the walk"
ReplyDeleteI will make an effort to make it to the send off in Coney Island this year, in years past I've overslept regrettably. But this year I will make a special effort.
Thanks Rod for posting this. This is special.
The MAAFA Suite is a theater production that everyone should experience.
